Retro Divination Writing Prompt

In high school, I used to use https://facade.com/ to try to figure out the usual teenager stuff... mostly involving questions about going out with people... because what else would you use digital tarot readings for, right?

Recently, I've been navigating actual high-stakes life situations that I don't have the energy to go into at the moment, but I decided to look at this webpage again for the first time in over a decade, maybe two decades. It has not changed at all since the 2000s as far as I can tell. The only sign that it's not completely in the 1990s is that the Euro is a currency option in the coin flip reading. The "Curious" tarot deck option is from 2002.

Facade has several options for divination, with the "yes/no" one looking the most like it is completely stuck in the aesthetics of the dial up days.

I can think of two ways to use this site as a writing prompt:

1. Start an entirely new short story and base it entirely around the results of a tarot, rune, or I Ching reading on Facade.com

Tarot especially has archetypal characters, settings, and plots right in the original images. Each reading is a story outline, it just needs to be fully fleshed out!

2. Have a character get a reading and make it a part of the plot

This is like a mystical version of sending in the Plot Ninjas to move the plot along! Bonus points if you have a character refer to the reading by saying "just like the old gypsy woman said" or "in accordance with the prophecy..."
